Epson EB-1985WU

This powerhouse projector by Epson is aimed at the meeting room environment. It is a very easy-to-set-up projector that does most of the jobs required from it. The EB-1985WU sets itself apart from many other projectors in the same price category; the reason for this is it´s possibility to stream content directly from the projector wirelessly using its WiDi and MiraCast connectivity. It does this with or without the need for an existing wireless network. It projects exactly whats on the screen of the smart device your using. I would say that it does this great as long as your projecting pictures and documents.

My experience says that the moment it starts streaming from site like Netflix or YouTube it is at the mercy of your wireless internet. Lagging can be an issue if your Internet is not slow. So to be on the safe side I would recommend the use of HDMI cables if you plan to stream a lot of high quality video.

It can brag of WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution that supports FullHD 1080p and 4,800 Ansi lumens white and color light output. It uses the Epson 3LCD technology. This means that you would enjoy the same quality of resolution you as you do in the comfort of your home. This is definite the flagship of the Epson 19xx series. Even if the Epson EB-1985WU is over a year old there is no replacement in sight at the moment, and there is still some time before 4k projectors will ever his price range. So I would say that this is still a safe buy, so if you can afford it go for it, you wont regret it.
