I considered for a long time what I was going to write about next, I was thinking about all sorts of products and decided on a professional tablet. Its not brand new but it is still possibly the best tablet on the marked.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro was released in November/December 2015, and to a person in IT like me, I was very excited to see what Lenovo had conjured up.
Lenovo has created a beautiful tablet with a high quality 10.1 IPS multi-touch screen with a 2560×1600 resolution. When I used this screen I was really impressed, it is for sure on the level of the Apple iPad with their retina screens. The sound is as good as well with its´ forward angled JBL speakers.
It sports an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 CPU with up to 2.24GHz turbo, 2 GB DDR3 Ram and 32 GB hard drive. The absolutely most impressive thing about this tablet is the battery time, it offers up to 18 hours of battery time, which really is insane. Not many other tablet gets even close to those numbers, a cool little feature with the battery is the “on the go bowerbank” as Lenovo calls it. Which basically is a USB cable that you connect from your other devices such as mobile to your Lenovo Yoga tab 3 Pro battery and it now becomes your powerbank.
The versatility of this tab is also quite obvious when you are actually holding it in your hands, you can hold it, hang it, let it stand and let it lay tilted. Added with the AnyPen technology, which lets you use any conductive pen you feel like to take notes it doesn’t get more versatile than that.
Possibly the most eye catching and coolest feature is the projector that this little tablet comes with. Lenovo claims that it will give you “a brilliant 70” screen”. I´ve tried it in a completely dark room and I must admit that the picture is surprisingly good, but I would rather say about 45-50” is the max I would go.
