Logitech released this video conferencing device a good while ago and its taken us intil now to write a review about it.

The Logitech Rally has been released in two versions, the Rally for small and medium sized rooms and the Rally plus for lager rooms. While the Rally for small and medium rooms is sold with one speaker and one microphone and the plus version is sold with 2 speakers and 2 microphones, with a maximum of 7 microphones.

Previous Logitech models such as the Logitech Group had proprietary cables with limited lengths that irritate AV integrators massively. Logitech seems to have learned from previous errors and have added with their Rally a table hub and a display hub. Which allows you to send signal from the table hub to the display hub with a cat6 cable for up to 50 meters/ 165 feet.

With the connected USB cable you bring your own computer into the room and use whatever softphone application you prefer such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Skype, Zoom, BlueJeans, Pexip etc.

The Rally camera is a PTZ camera with 4K resolution at 30fps and FullHD resolution 1080p at 60fps, it can brag of 15x HD zoom and 90 degrees field of view. Pan and tilt speeds automatically adapt to the level of zoom. The resultis clear: faster camera movement when zoomed out for quick framing and slower camera movement when zoomed in for more control. Logitech RightSight camera control automatically moves and adjusts the lens to comfortably frame meeting participants in rooms of all shapes and sizes.

The microphone pick up range is 4.5 meter/ 15 feet, four omnidirectional microphones forming eight acoustic beams. With background noise suppression and acoustic echo cancellation they will create a confertable conversation for both parties during the conversation.
For rooms with more than 10 participants, add Rally Mic Pods to expand audio coverage and provide convenient access to mute controls. Each pod adds coverage for six more participants, so you can deploy Rally in large meeting spaces and boardrooms with up to 46 people.

All in all this is a fantastic product that is incredibly easy to install, it is a flexible system to fit most sized rooms and incredibly easy to use. Connect the USB cable and pick the Rally system as mic, speaker and camera and your ready to call.
