Catchbox the throwable mic for the fun and participating audience, a complete wireless microphone system designed for use in meeting rooms and event spaces with audiences of up to 1000 people. The product includes a receiver and one transmitter (capsule) with soft Catchbox Cover and wireless Charger.

Catchbox is a bright padded wireless foam microphone, made to be tossed around or passed around from person to person in an audience during for instance a conference. The Catchbox is able to sustain being dropped, the device has been engineered to automatically mute the sound when flying through the air or if it falls (called Automute by Catchbox). So you can capture and record audio from two mics simultaneously via analog (balanced + unbalanced) and digital (USB) audio signals. Catchbox Plus operates in the 1.8/1.9 GHz license-free (DECT) radio band.

The Finland-based hardware startup isn’t just targeting events with large audiences, such as tech conferences. Other markets include education, company meetings, and consultants.

Catchbox offers the customers the possibility to print their own logo on the foamed microphone to marked themselves.
